Stainless Steel 304 Welded / ERW Micro Tubes Manufacturer and Supplier in India
Stainless Steel 304 Welded / ERW Micro Tubes are precision, thin wall tubes formed from flat-rolled stainless steel strips and available in small diameter. The strip is formed into a tube and longitudinally welded by ERW, TIG or laser. Following the welding process, the tubes are then subjected to cold drawing/redrawing in order to attain precise OD, ID, wall thickness, and weld seam dimensions. The SS Grade 304 is an austenitic chromium nickel stainless steel material which has good strength as well as resistance to atmospheric corrosion. In cases where frequent welding/brazing of parts occurs, then the SS 304L is recommended since the carbon content does not exceed 0.030% hence minimizing carbide formation. Amardeep Steel manufactures and supplies these precision micro tubes in different sizes and specifications to meet the requirements of various industrial applications.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are Stainless Steel 304 Welded / ERW Micro Tubes?
They are small-diameter tubes made from SS 304 strip and joined along the length by welding, such as ERW. They are used where accurate dimensions and corrosion resistance are required.
What are SS 304 Welded Micro Tubes used for?
They are used for instrumentation, fluid lines, process equipment, and hydraulic applications where corrosion-resistant tubing is required.
Are SS 304 Welded Micro Tubes corrosion resistant?
Yes. SS 304 provides good corrosion resistance for general service and atmospheric environments.
What is the difference between SS 304 seamless and welded micro tubes?
Seamless tubes are manufactured without a weld seam, while welded tubes are formed from strip and joined longitudinally. Both can be suitable for corrosion-resistant service when properly specified.
Are SS 304 ERW Micro Tubes suitable for high-pressure applications?
Yes, when manufactured and specified for the required pressure service. High-pressure applications require appropriate wall thickness, strength condition, testing, and design verification.
Can SS 304 ERW Micro Tubes be used in hydraulic systems?
Yes. Welded 304/304L stainless steel tubing is specifically covered by SAE standards for hydraulic lines and other corrosion-resistant applications.
