What Is Hastelloy C276 (UNS N10276)?
Hastelloy C276 is an alloy made up of nickel, which is mainly made up of a high amount of molybdenum and chromium, and small amounts of tungsten. It's mainly made to be used in extremely harsh conditions. The composition of Hastelloy C276 is made with different metals that include around 57% nickel, 16% chromium, and 16% molybdenum, which provides it with a balanced structure, enabling it to prevent pitting corrosion under oxidizing and reducing conditions. An exceptionally high resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking in a wide range of chemical exposures due to this well-designed chemistry. A Hastelloy C276 pipe, Hastelloy C276 seamless pipe and Hastelloy C276 tube is made with a strong internal construction and external rigorous testing to ensure it meets high industrial standards, so that it has a long service life, high reliability and durability. In actual application, these products are designed to be able to resist harsh conditions without failure of the product.

Hastelloy C276 Seamless Pipe
Hastelloy C276 seamless pipe is produced using a solid round billet process that involves heating and drawing the material through a mandrel to form a hollow shape without any welding. This manufacturing method ensures that the alloy remains naturally dense and strong compared to other methods like welding that are less reliable in terms of application. The seamless tube has a consistent microstructure, resulting in consistent mechanical properties. They are highly preferred for high performance applications especially where structural integrity is paramount like in aggressive and corrosive environments. Billets are obtained from both local and foreign mills to ensure stringent quality control and material traceability.
Hastelloy C276 Welded Pipe
Welded Hastelloy C276 pipes are produced by the process of forming alloy sheets or strips into cylindrical form and welding them together using an accurate welding technique. These pipes will withstand corrosion very well and are widely used in moderately corrosive environments. They have one particular benefit over seamless pipes: they can be manufactured in higher diameters and longer continuous lengths. Furthermore, the welded pipes are usually more economical and are suitable for use in low-pressure applications and low mechanical stress within the range of Nickel Alloy Steel Products.
Alloy C276 Pipe
Alloy C276 pipes and tubes are seamless and welded, and they can perform very well in both oxidation and reduction. Advanced Hastelloy Products are essential in demanding industries, with these products playing a key role.
