Hastelloy Pipes and Tubes

Amardeep Steel Centre is a major manufacturer, stockist and exporter of Hastelloy pipes and tubes in India with more than 40 years of experience in providing high performance nickel alloy piping solutions to the world. We have Hastelloy C276, C22 and B2 seamless and welded types of pipes and tubes in a variety of forms, produced to meet ASTM B622, ASME SB622, ASTM B619 and ASTM B626.

Our Hastelloy tubing is widely used across chemical processing, pharmaceutical, oil and gas, and marine industries in more than 80 countries due to its excellent corrosion resistance and durability. These are specifically designed alloys that are capable of enduring severe chemical environments, both oxidizing and reducing, and are therefore a reliable option in highly important industrially critical applications.

Material selection in high corrosive processing environment is very critical in avoiding equipment failure, unplanned downtimes, and high maintenance expenses. The use of Hastelloy pipes and tubes is a good long-term solution because it is structurally sound and can be used in the face of harsh conditions.

While the initial Hastelloy pipe cost may be higher than alternative materials such as PTFE, graphite, or ceramic, the overall lifecycle value is significantly more economical. These piping systems will provide prolonged service life, less replacement rate, and uniform performance with proper maintenance.

Hastelloy piping systems provide:

  • Long service life with minimal maintenance
  • Reduced downtime due to corrosion-related failures
  • High resistance to aggressive chemicals
  • Reliable performance under elevated temperature and pressure

As one of the trusted Hastelloy tubing suppliers, we recommend these alloys for applications requiring durability, corrosion resistance, and long-term cost efficiency, particularly in demanding chemical and petrochemical environments.

Hastelloy Pipe and Tube Grades We Supply

We supply Hastelloy pipes and tubes across three primary grades, each suited to specific corrosive environments. Selecting the right grade is critical to ensuring long service life and reducing total cost of ownership.

Hastelloy C276 Pipes and Tubes (UNS N10276 / DIN 2.4819)

Hastelloy C276 is the most widely specified grade in the Hastelloy family. It is a nickel-molybdenum-chromium-tungsten wrought alloy with outstanding resistance to both oxidizing and reducing environments. The low carbon content of C276 minimizes carbide precipitation during welding, making it suitable for use in as-welded structures without post-weld heat treatment. Our ASTM B622 seamless C276 pipes are produced from solid billets, ensuring uniform wall thickness and superior pressure-bearing capacity.

Hastelloy C22 Pipes and Tubes (UNS N06022 / DIN 2.4602)

Hastelloy C22 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum-tungsten alloy offering superior resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking compared to C276 in highly oxidizing environments. It is especially effective in environments containing wet chlorine, hypochlorite, chlorine dioxide, and mixed acid systems. C22 pipes are widely used in waste treatment, pulp bleaching, and specialty chemical processing.

Hastelloy B2 Pipes and Tubes (UNS N10665 / DIN 2.4617)

Hastelloy B2 is a nickel-molybdenum alloy engineered for resistance to hydrochloric acid at all concentrations and temperatures. It also performs well in reducing environments involving sulfuric, acetic, and phosphoric acids. Hastelloy B2 pipes are commonly used in hydrochloric acid production, pickling equipment, and chemical synthesis where iron-free media is required.
