What are Inconel 625 Pipes & Tubes?
Inconel 625 Alloy (UNS No6625) is a prime alloy that is primarily composed of nickel, chrome, molybdenum, and niobium. Due to these features, this material alloy 625 pipes become high strength and tough, making it suitable for high temperature applications, temperatures up to 1800°F (982°C). This alloy is especially noted for its very high corrosion resistance in a wide variety of corrosive environments. It offers more protection from pitting and crevice corrosion when exposed to salt water or similar environments containing chloride. Inconel 625 tube and tubing products are significant as they can be utilized in various uses, particularly in extreme conditions where different materials would not work. You can rely on it to be durable and long-lasting, whether you need a seamless tube for high-pressure heat exchange or a welded tube for structural applications; both with alloy 625 are sure to prove themselves to be great long-term investments. Amardeep Steel is a reputed steel manufacturer and supplier of Inconel 625 pipes and tubes, in addition to other materials that are used in various industries.
Inconel Alloy 625 (UNS N06625) is a high-quality alloy made of nickel, chromium, molybdenum, and niobium. Because of this special mix of chemicals, Inconel 625 Pipes are known for being very strong and tough from very cold temperatures all the way up to 1800°F (982°C). The alloy is highly valued for its outstanding resistance to a wide range of corrosive environments. For example, it offers better protection against pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride-containing media such as seawater.
Because Inconel 625 Tubes can be used in many different ways, they are very important in harsh environments where other materials would fail. Alloy 625 is reliable over the long term, whether you need Inconel 625 Seamless Tubes for high-pressure heat exchanges or strong Inconel 625 Welded Tubes for structural uses.

Inconel Alloy 625 Seamless Pipes
The chemical composition of Inconel 625 seamless pipe is mainly composed of nickel and chromium with 58% and 20% respectively. The rest of the composition consists of carbon, manganese, silicon, iron, sulfur, aluminum and titanium. It is very highly resistant to corrosion and thus is well-suited for use in seawater. Seamless pipe's diameters include 4 mm to 219mm. The wall thickness of these sockets is from 0.5mm to 20mm. The pipes can be purchased in larger diameter sizes from 5 to 160 schedules. This alloy comes in a range of products such as round pipes, hydraulic pipes, etc.

Inconel Alloy 625 Welded Tubes
Welding Inconel may be difficult because the welds that are made tend to split. Certain type of Inconel alloys were especially designed to be used in welding such as TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas). Inconel 625 Tube is used in methods that demand high heat. It is a Ni-Cr alloy that is suitable for use over a wide temperature range in high-strength components, has oxidation problem areas, and is particularly useful in the offshore oil & gas and aerospace industries. Inconel 625 tubes, which are known to exhibit high pitting, stress corrosion, crevice corrosion, corrosion fatigue, and erosion corrosion resistance, are used to ensure that their mechanical characteristics are preserved at 450 °C (840 °F). Inconel 625 tubes are produced according to AMS 5581 specification. The cold-drawn tubes have lengths of 6m and 3m.

Welding and Fabrication of Alloy 625
Inconel 625 exhibits excellent fabricability and weldability, making the production of Inconel 625 Seamless & Welded Pipes & Tubes highly reliable. It can be readily welded by most standard processes, including Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW/TIG) and Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW/MIG). Due to its high strength, it resists post-weld heat treatment cracking. For best results, matching filler metals like AWS A5.14 ERNiCrMo-3 are recommended to maintain the corrosion resistance and strength of the weld joint.
