Amardeep Steel is a leading provider of Monel alloy 400 plates, offering high-quality nickel-copper alloy products known for their exceptional performance. Monel 400 plate is a strong copper-nickel alloy, combining approximately 67% nickel with 23% copper. It is highly resistant to seawater, steam, and various corrosive solutions, making it ideal for marine applications and chemical processing environments.
Our Monel 400 Plates are prized for their good ductility, corrosion resistance, and ability to withstand temperatures from cryogenic conditions up to 1000°F. These plates come in dimensions ranging from 200mm to 6000mm in length, 1000mm to 2000mm in width, and thicknesses between
0.3mm and 20mm. They are available in hot-rolled and cold-rolled finishes and can be cut, formed, ground, and polished to meet specific requirements. The alloy’s chemical composition includes 63% nickel, and 28% copper, with traces of iron, carbon, manganese, silicon, and sulfur.
Monel 400 Sheets and Shim Sheets offer excellent resistance to pitting and stress-corrosion cracking and are particularly effective against hydrochloric and hydrofluoric acids when de-aerated. However, they are vulnerable to nitric acid and ammonia. The material’s hardness is reflected by its NACE MR 175 score, and it maintains good mechanical properties even at subzero temperatures. Monel 400 can also be used in various tempers to enhance strength.
