Incoloy 800 Pipe Fittings (also known as Inconel 800 pipe fittings worldwide in procurement) are the first alloys in the 800 series of high-temperature alloys developed for continuous service at elevated temperatures. Amardeep Steel Centre offers and produces ASTM B366 Incoloy 800 fittings in all dimensions, for heat exchanger OEMs, furnace builders and petrochemical plant contractors. Our Incoloy 800 fittings manufacturer facility is equipped with heat-forming ability, PMI verification, third-party inspection acceptance with all major classification societies in-house.

What Are Inconel 800 / Incoloy 800 Pipe Fittings?

Inconel 800 Pipe Fittings are produced using a NiFeCr alloy containing 30–35% nickel, 19–23% chromium and iron as a balance, the composition of which is controlled with aluminium and titanium. The alloy is resistant to oxidation, carburization and nitriding atmospheres in the range from 593 to 900 °C, and has good forming and welding properties due to its austenitic structure. The baseline grade of the 800 series, UNS N08800 fittings are used in applications that do not exceed 593 °C in prolonged exposure.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is the difference between Inconel 800 and Incoloy 800?

A: Inconel 800 and Incoloy 800 refer to the same alloy - UNS N08800. The Inconel trademark (now Incoloy) is a registered name for Special Metals' nickel-iron-chromium alloys. Both designations are used interchangeably in commerce.

Q: What is Incoloy 800 used for in pipe fittings applications?

A: Incoloy 800 pipe fittings are used in heat exchangers, furnace components, chemical processing systems, and power plant steam piping where oxidation and carburization resistance at 593-900 C are required.

Q: What standard governs Incoloy 800 Pipe Fittings?

A: Incoloy 800 Pipe Fittings are manufactured per ASTM B366 UNS N08800, dimensioned to ASME B16.9 (buttweld) and ASME B16.11 (forged), with EN 10204 3.1 MTCs available.

Q: What is the carbon content difference between Incoloy 800, 800H, and 800HT?

A: Incoloy 800 has C <= 0.10%; Incoloy 800H specifies C = 0.05-0.10% for creep strength; Incoloy 800HT controls C at 0.06-0.10% with controlled Al+Ti for maximum long-term creep resistance.
