Hot Forming and Fabrication of Nickel Alloy Bars
Nickel 200 and Nickel 201 can be hot formed in the range 649 degrees Celsius to 1232 degrees Celsius (1200 degrees F to 2250 degrees F). Nickel 201 is preferred for applications above 315 degrees Celsius due to its low carbon content, which prevents intergranular embrittlement.
