Nickel Alloy Flange Grades
Each grade within the ASTM B564 standard is engineered for a specific class of corrosion challenge. Select the right UNS grade for your process environment using the cards below, or jump to a dedicated grade page for full specifications.
Nickel 200
Commercially pure nickel. Excellent resistance to caustic alkalis, fluorine, and many reducing media. Ideal for food processing and chemical plant service below 315°C.
View Nickel 200 Products →Nickel 201
Low-carbon variant of Nickel 200 with carbon max 0.02%. Preferred for elevated-temperature service above 315°C where Nickel 200 risks intergranular cracking in caustic environments.
View Nickel 201 Products →Monel 400
Nickel-copper alloy with outstanding resistance to hydrofluoric acid, seawater, and reducing acids. The preferred flange material for marine, desalination, and acid pickling environments.
View Monel 400 Flanges →Inconel 600
Nickel-chromium alloy designed for high-temperature oxidising service up to 1177°C. Used in heat treat furnaces, chemical processing, and nuclear reactor steam generators.
View Inconel 600 Flanges →Inconel 625
High-strength, high-temperature nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy. Exceptional resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and seawater. Widely used in offshore and aerospace piping systems.
View Inconel 625 Flanges →Incoloy 825
Austenitic nickel-iron-chromium alloy stabilised with titanium. Resistant to both sulfuric and phosphoric acids, plus pitting and stress-corrosion cracking in chloride-containing environments.
View Incoloy Products →Applications of Nickel Alloy Flanges
The combination of corrosion resistance, elevated-temperature strength, and pressure-retaining capacity makes ASTM B564 nickel alloy flanges indispensable in the following industries. For complementary exotic flange materials, also see our Hastelloy Flanges and Inconel Flanges ranges.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which nickel alloy flange grade is best for sulfuric acid service?
Incoloy 825 (UNS N08825) is generally the preferred grade for sulfuric acid service because its nickel, chromium, molybdenum, and copper additions provide resistance to both dilute and concentrated sulfuric acid concentrations. Monel 400 is preferred for hydrofluoric acid and reducing acid conditions. Always confirm with a corrosion engineer based on your specific temperature, concentration, and contaminants.
What is the difference between Nickel 200 and Nickel 201 flanges?
Both are commercially pure nickel with nearly identical corrosion resistance. The difference is carbon content: Nickel 200 allows up to 0.15% carbon, while Nickel 201 is low-carbon with a maximum of 0.02%. This matters for service temperatures above 315°C (600°F), where graphite precipitation at grain boundaries in Nickel 200 can cause embrittlement. Nickel 201 flanges are therefore specified for elevated-temperature caustic and alkali service.
Do you supply ASTM B564 flanges with EN 10204 3.1 certificates?
Yes. All Amardeep Steel Centre nickel alloy flanges are available with EN 10204 Type 3.1 or 3.2 material test certificates. Third-party inspection by agencies including Bureau Veritas, SGS, Lloyds, TUV, and DNV is available on request. PMI testing with XRF analyzer is standard for all exotic alloy shipments.
What flange types are available in ASTM B564 nickel alloys?
The complete range of ASME B16.5 flange types is available: weld neck (WNRF), slip-on (SORF), blind (BLRF), socket weld (SWRF), threaded, orifice, spectacle blind, reducing, lap joint, long weld neck, ring type joint (RTJ), tongue and groove, and flat face, all in ASTM B564 nickel alloy grades to pressure classes 150 through 2500 LBS, in sizes 1/2 inch NB through 60 inch NB.
