Incoloy 825 Pipe Fittings are made from nickel-iron-chromium (UNS N08825) alloy with controlled molybdenum (2.5-3.5%) and copper (1.5-3.0%) levels and stabilised with titanium. Molybdenum and Copper provides resistance to two of the most economically significant corrosive environments: Alloy 825 Fittings are resistant to sulfuric acid over a wide concentration range and throughout the temperature spectrum, and they are also resistant to phosphoric acid, seawater chloride pitting and reducing acid. Incoloy 825 Pipe Fittings offer the widest chemical corrosion resistance of all the nickel alloys in the 800 family of alloys, in a variety of application types, such as sulfuric acid alkylation units, seawater-cooled heat exchangers, and pollution-control scrubbers.
