Stainless Steel 347H Forged Fitting is a niobium-stabilized stainless steel fitting that is used in high temperature and harsh conditions. Grade 347H is made of 17-19 % chromium, 9-13 % nickel, and niobium (columbium) that enhances resistance to intergranular corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. The increased carbon content of 347H increases the creep strength and increases its ability to withstand extended exposure to higher temperatures than standard 347. These fabricated fittings are produced to meet ASTM A182, ASME B16.11, and other international standards to provide pressure integrity and dimensional accuracy.
SS 347H has high carbon density and good oxidation resistance that makes it reliable in high pressure and thermal cycling conditions.
