Gasket Types We Manufacture & Supply

Ring Joint Gaskets

These are machined on CNC equipment to tight tolerances in R, RX and BX styles, each available in oval and octagonal profiles. They are the standard choice in high-pressure, high-temperature oil and gas pipeline work, and are built fully to ASME B16.20 and API Spec 6A in both standard and special materials.

Spiral Wound Metallic Gaskets

A metal winding carries the gasket's structural strength while a non-metallic filler does the actual sealing, a combination that holds up well against leakage on high-temperature lines. Hardness and physical parameters are set per client requirement from quality raw materials, and for tube vessels and heat exchangers, these gaskets can also be supplied with inner and outer rings plus partition ribs.

Metal Jacketed Gaskets

Built for sealing flat surfaces, heat exchangers, gas pipes, cast iron flanges, autoclaves, valve covers and manholes among them, where a wide range of temperatures and mechanical loads needs to be resisted. Beyond the standard flat form, these are also available as frames, oval shapes or to other custom constructions.

Non-Asbestos Gaskets

Made from Compressed Non-Asbestos Jointing Sheets (CNAF, also called NACF), combining glass and aramid fibres with an NBR rubber binder. Hardness and physical parameters are adjusted per client requirement, and the shapes and sizes produced cover a wide range, with engines and hydraulic systems among the most common applications for fixing leakage problems.

PTFE Gaskets

The PTFE range covers both Envelope Gaskets and Sheet Gaskets, manufactured to whatever dimensions a job calls for at the in-house production facility. Fine chemicals, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals and food processing are the industries that use this range most.

Rubber Gaskets

These are precision-machined low carbon steel gaskets encapsulated in a nitrile rubber casing, and they do three jobs at once: pressure testing with minimal damage to flanges, extra sealing at the rubber contact points, and protection of the flange faces themselves. As with the other ranges, hardness and physical parameters can be set to client requirement.

Solid Metal Gaskets

For service conditions where conventional gasket materials simply cannot cope, solid metal gaskets bring exceptional mechanical strength, heat conductivity and resistance to high pressure, high temperature and chemical attack. The gasket metal itself is chosen softer than the mating flange surfaces by design, and hardness and physical parameters are set per client requirement.

Graphite Gaskets

Built for the most extreme service conditions, self-lubricated and non-stick to flanges, in endless rings, rings with a single oblique cut, or split rings with oblique cuts. The construction is designed to give the right compression with a high percentage of recovery and low creep relaxation, which is why these turn up most often sealing valves, pumps and expansion joints.

Precision Gaskets

Manufactured to close tolerance with hardness and physical parameters set per client requirement, these are used widely across industrial processes. Cutting services are also offered to client specification, with the team working alongside customers to land on the most economical part without giving up consistency or quality.

Heat Exchanger Gaskets

Where low seating stress and good performance both matter, this is the range to use, and the right type depends on the exchanger's actual operating conditions. Metallic options span Double and Single Jacket, Solid Metal and Spiral Wound constructions, chosen for service where extreme temperatures and thermal-expansion movement are expected.

Frequently Asked Questions About Gaskets

Who is a reliable gasket manufacturer in India?

Amardeep Steel Centre LLP is a Mumbai-based gasket manufacturer, stockist and exporter supplying Ring Joint, Spiral Wound, Metal Jacketed, PTFE, Rubber, Non-Asbestos, Solid Metal, Graphite and Precision gaskets to over 60 countries.

What is the difference between a Ring Joint Gasket and a Spiral Wound Gasket?

A Ring Joint Gasket (RTJ) is a solid metal ring, in oval or octagonal profile, seated in a matching machined groove on the flange face, used for the highest pressure and temperature service per ASME B16.20 and API 6A. A Spiral Wound Gasket is a metal strip and filler material wound together into a semi-metallic construction, used across a broad range of ASME B16.5 raised-face and RTJ flanges for general to high-pressure process service.

What standards do your gaskets conform to?

Our gaskets are manufactured and supplied to ASME B16.20 (metallic and semi-metallic gaskets) and ASME B16.21 (non-metallic flat gaskets), with EN 10204 3.1/3.2 material certification and IBR test certification available on request.

What gasket sizes do you supply?

We supply gaskets from 1/2" NB up to 24" NB as standard, with custom sizes and thicknesses beyond that range available on request, cut to your exact flange drawing.

Which gasket type should I use for high-temperature or high-pressure service?

Ring Joint Gaskets and Spiral Wound Metallic Gaskets are generally preferred for high-pressure and high-temperature service; solid metal and graphite gaskets are used where temperatures and pressures rule out conventional gasket materials entirely.

Do you export gaskets internationally?

Yes, we are an established gasket exporter shipping regularly to the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, the UK, USA, Canada, Germany, Australia and more.
