Inconel 783 Pipes & Tubes

Inconel 783 Pipes & Tubes

Inconel 783 pipes and tubes (UNS R30783) are made to order from Alloy 783, a cobalt nickel iron superalloy developed for applications where dimensional stability at high temperature is important. With about 5.5% aluminium, the alloy combines low thermal expansion with high strength while also providing better oxidation resistance than many conventional low expansion alloys. Amardeep Steel supplies Inconel 783 pipes and tubes from billet and bar to meet project specific requirements. Compare our Inconel 718 pipes and tubes and Inconel X-750 pipes and tubes, or browse all Inconel pipes and tubes. Every order comes with mill test certificates to EN 10204 3.1 and full heat traceability.

What Are Inconel 783 Pipes and Tubes?

Inconel 783 was developed for gas turbine parts where tight clearances must be held as the engine heats up: casings, shrouds, seals and rings. Its low expansion means the gap between rotating and static parts changes less, which improves efficiency. The high aluminium forms a protective oxide, so it does not need the coatings older low expansion alloys require.

How Alloy 783 Tube and Rings Are Made

Alloy 783 is produced as forging billet to AMS 5940, bar and extruded section. Tube, sleeves and rings are made to order by ring rolling, extrusion or boring, then given the standard solution and ageing treatment. Send us the drawing and we will confirm the route.
