Inconel 725 pipes and tubes are suited to demanding oil and gas applications where high strength has to go hand in hand with corrosion resistance. UNS N07725 is an age hardenable nickel alloy supplied to ASTM B805 chemistry and property requirements. In its aged condition, Alloy 725 offers corrosion resistance comparable to Inconel 625 while reaching a minimum yield strength of 827 MPa, around three times the yield strength of 625. The alloy is also approved to NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 for sour oil and gas service. Amardeep Steel supplies Inconel 725 pipes and tubes on a made to order basis with the required material documentation. Compare our Inconel 625 pipes and tubes and Inconel 718 pipes and tubes, or browse all Inconel pipes and tubes. Every order includes an EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate and full heat traceability.
What Are Inconel 725 Pipes and Tubes?
Alloy 725 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum-niobium alloy with titanium. Its chemistry is close to 625, so it resists pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking in hydrogen sulfide, chloride, and carbon dioxide environments. Ageing forms gamma double prime, which raises strength without the hydrogen embrittlement risk seen in some high strength alloys.
How Alloy 725 Tube Is Supplied
The producers manufacture alloy 725 as rods and wires and the tube is then produced in accordance with the required specification through boring or gun drilling the rod or hot extrusion of the metal tube or through pipe production to get a hollow rod which can be used in down hole applications like landing nipples and polished bore receptacles. Provide the required measurements in terms of outer diameter, inner diameter, and length and we will let you know the method used.
