EN 10216-1 P235TR2 Seamless Pipes & Tubes

EN 10216-1 P235TR2 Seamless Pipes & Tubes

EN 10216-1 P235TR2 seamless pipes and tubes are specified when the material needs additional inspection and verified impact performance. Steel number 1.0255, P235TR2 has a minimum yield strength of 235 MPa and tensile strength of 360 to 500 MPa. Compared with P235TR1, this grade is aluminium killed and comes with mandatory impact testing at 0°C along with specific inspection requirements. P235TR2 also replaced the former DIN 1630 St 37.4 designation. Amardeep Steel supplies P235TR2 seamless pipes and tubes with EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificates, while 3.2 inspection documentation is available on request. For the base grade, see our EN 10216-1 P235TR1 seamless pipes. For elevated temperature service, see EN 10216-2 P235GH tubes, or browse all carbon steel seamless pipes and tubes.

What Are P235TR2 Seamless Pipes and Tubes?

P235TR2 is the quality 2 version of P235 in EN 10216-1. The minimum 0.020% total aluminium makes it a fully killed, fine grain steel. Each lot is impact tested and supplied with specific inspection, so the certificate reports results from the tubes delivered.
