Ferritic stainless steels:

The Ferritic alloys have good ductility and formability to gain on poor temperature strength compared to the grades. It can utilize the austenitic grades that come under ductility and formability.

Martensitic stainless steels:

These types of steels were the first stainless steels that use under commercial development. It is relatively taken in high carbon content when compared to other stainless steels. They are manufactured from plain chromium steels containing between 12 and 18% chromium. Of course, they are magnetic and hardenable by quenching and tempering.

Ferritic stainless steels:

Austenitic stainless steels:

In fact, it considers the basic composition of austenitic stainless which is 18% chromium and 8% nickel. They have better corrosion resistance and accounting for more than 70% of production and most commonly used grades under research. The Super austenitic grades have enhanced pitting and crevice to take according to resistance controller. This usually begins to carry out by the additions of chromium and belong to this family.

Duplex stainless steels:

These are stainless steels containing relatively high chromium levels and have moderate amounts of nickel. It usually carried out by corrosion resistance and involves excellent mechanical properties taken approximately. This manufacture by equal volumes and propositionally changed with the ordinary austenitic or duplex types.
